Domenic Martini - Week 1
One issue I've been very interested in for the past year as been the Response to Intervention program. I've been a part of several different programs like RTI in different schools but have always been a participant rather than a facilitator. We've just started the implementation of this program at my current school and I would love to prepare something that could help me make it more understandable and easier to access for new and returning staff next year. Generally, it would be K-12 teachers that would attend this type of training but I think it would be very helpful for all the staff that works in or around the school. The characteristics of these "adult learners" would very quiet a bit, but in general they should be those that are wanting to make positive changes in their students/young people’s lives and have the patience for a lengthy process.
